Day 3 of 56 Day Fitness Challenge – A Love Note to Myself.

Dear Kim,

Day 3 and you’re a rock and I, for one, am astounded.

You’ve always been a total failure. You’ve continually cheated yourself out of success – and positive change – and astonishing results with your giant FOMO (fear of missing out) and your desire to just do (eat) whatever the fuck you want.

I’m shocked at your commitment.
This time feels different.
This time IS different.

Do me a favour. HANG ON TO THIS MOMENTUM.

You might feel all rock star today, but find this post on Day 11 or 23 or 46 and re-read it. Remember what it felt like to BE COMMITTED to your self, and your goal.

Cause here’s the other side of that coin…

YOU ALREADY KNOW what it’s like to settle.
TO GIVE UP.
To quit.
To take the easy road.
To let yourself down.
To justify and make excuses and piss and whine.

YOU KNOW HOW THAT FEELS.

You already know what puffy and exhausted feels like – how it feels to put on pants with a roll over the top and boobs that fall out of your bra.

You already know what silent judgement feels like from people who think you will never change – or that YOUR BODY JUST IS WHAT IT IS and you should just ACCEPT it.

What if – you just HUNG ON?

Let yourself try this.
Stay committed.
You deserve it.
No one else has to live in your body.
No one else makes your choices for you.

Choose you.
Hang on.

Eat the vegetables. Love it. See it as LOVING you.
Praise yourself. Soak and sleep. And cry and curse.

And HANG ON.

You already know what it feels like to be fat, and sick, and tired, and crabby and miserable with yourself.

Stay committed to feeling something new.

HANG ON.
Remember how balls out and bad ass you feel today.
